Van Fire in Goring Extinguished by Worthing Crews

Fire crews responded to a van fire in Goring this morning (October 17), arriving at Ashurst Close at 8.35am.
The West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service dispatched two fire engines from Worthing to handle the situation. Upon arrival, the crews discovered a van fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, used thermal imaging cameras, jets, and hose reels to extinguish the blaze, which was confirmed as accidental. The fire was brought under control swiftly, and crews remained on the scene until 9.30am.
No injuries were reported, and the service has now left the area.
