Sponsored Dog Walk at Brooklands Park for Turning Tides

Dog owners in Worthing are invited to take part in a sponsored charity walk in support of Turning Tides, a local homelessness organisation. The event will take place on Saturday, 22nd February, at Brooklands Park, offering a relaxing 2.5k walk around the picturesque park and lakes.

Turning Tides recognises the vital emotional support that pets provide and is committed to ensuring that individuals experiencing homelessness do not have to give up their animals to access shelter. The charity has worked towards creating StreetVet-accredited services that cater to both individuals and their pets, ensuring that no one is excluded from receiving the help they need due to pet ownership.

Adding a special touch to the event, Miss May, a therapy dog from Worthing Hospital, will make an appearance. She is well known for her ‘Paws for Well-being’ column in Inside Magazine and her social media presence. The event is proudly sponsored by Browns Natural Pet Store.
