A24 collision near Findon leaves two hospitalised and causes major delays

Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision that closed the A24 Findon Road in both directions on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Findon Valley at approximately 3.15pm after reports of a car rolling over. South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed that two patients were assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Worthing Hospital for further medical attention.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident with two fire engines and a heavy rescue tender dispatched to the scene at 3.18pm. The road remained closed for several hours as emergency crews worked at the site, with fire officials advising drivers to avoid the area due to significant disruption.
