A27 Reopens After Fatal Incident

The A27 has reopened after being closed in both directions early Monday morning following a fatal incident. Police confirmed that a 28-year-old man had died, but no suspicious circumstances are suspected.

The closure affected the stretch between Lancing and Shoreham, with diversions put in place while emergency services attended the scene. Sussex Police have notified the man’s next of kin.

In a social media post, Sussex Police confirmed that the road was fully reopened shortly before 11:00 BST, with traffic gradually returning to normal levels.
