Air Ambulance Responds to Medical Incident in Worthing High Street

Worthing | August 4, 2024

The Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance landed in Steyne Gardens following what police have described as a “medical incident” in Worthing High Street.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon near Bathscene, a kitchen and bathroom shop. Police and ambulances were seen parked outside the shop, leading to the closure of the road, which was cordoned off with police tape.

The air ambulance departed at 2:30 pm, and the road was subsequently reopened.

Eyewitnesses told Radio Worthing they saw broken glass on the pavement in front of the shop, while police officers remained at the site to guard the entrance.
