Angmering Sports Hub Plans Updated Following Public Consultation

Plans for a new sports hub in Angmering have been updated following a public consultation earlier this year.

Arun District Council has revealed the revised designs for the Angmering Sports Hub after 210 responses were received during the consultation held in July. The updated project includes a new community sports hub building, floodlit all-weather football pitches, and upgraded facilities such as a multi-use games area, cricket wicket, and outdoor gym equipment.

The district council will present the updated plans to the Policy and Finance Committee on October 24, where they will seek approval to move forward with a planning application. The plans focus on enhancing Palmer Road Recreation Ground, managed by Angmering Parish Council, to create a key football and multi-sport hub for the community.
