Aparthotel Planned Above Worthing Superdrug Store
Plans have been submitted for a new aparthotel comprising 33 apartments above the Superdrug store in Worthing’s Montague Street.
If approved, the development will include a mix of commercial premises and hotel use on the first floor, with additional hotel apartments on the second and third floors.
The proposed aparthotel will feature various sized suites, each with bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and small kitchenettes. A digital check-in system will be implemented, with housekeeping being the only staff present on-site.
The plans, submitted by planning consultants Tor and Co, emphasise that the aparthotel will attract a diverse range of visitors, including business travellers and tourists, positively impacting local businesses and stimulating further investment in the area.
Adur and Worthing Councils are set to decide on the approval by October 22 after a consultation period.
