Body of man found in Findon Valley car park

The body of a man has been discovered in a car park in Findon Valley, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Sussex Police said they were called to Storrington Rise in Findon Valley at around 6am on Saturday 29 March following a report of a body being found. Emergency services attended the scene and confirmed the death of a man.

Officers have stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious. The man’s next of kin have been informed, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said the investigation into the circumstances is ongoing, although there are no indications of foul play at this stage. The coroner will determine the official cause of death in due course.
