Boy Charged and Two Arrested Following Assault at Worthing Store
A 16-year-old boy has been charged, and two other boys have been arrested and released on bail, following an assault at a shop in Worthing. The incident occurred at Morrison’s Daily on Limbrick Corner, with police responding to the scene on 10 September 2024.
Sussex Police confirmed that the 16-year-old was charged with affray and threatening someone with a knife. He was arrested on 14 September and has since been released on conditional bail, due to appear at Worthing Youth Court in November.
Two other teenagers, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old, were arrested earlier on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, violent disorder, and attempted wounding. Both have been released on bail pending further investigation.
