Coastguard and RNLI Respond to Windsurfing Board Incident on Worthing Beach

Coastguard and RNLI teams were called to Worthing Beach on Friday evening after a windsurfing board was discovered washed up on the shore.

The emergency services responded to the incident at around 8pm, with coastguard rescue teams from Littlehampton and Shoreham conducting a thorough search of the beach. Meanwhile, the RNLI Shoreham lifeboat patrolled the nearby coastline to ensure no one was in danger.

After liaising with Sussex Police, the search was called off at approximately 9:30pm. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the incident, and no injuries or missing persons have been reported.
