Emergency Services Respond to Fire in Worthing

Emergency services were deployed to Twyford Road, Worthing, on Sunday afternoon to tackle a fire, with police urging residents to avoid the area and keep their windows closed.
Sussex Police confirmed that officers and fire crews responded to the incident at approximately 1:45 pm on 16 March. The fire caused road closures and prompted safety warnings for nearby residents.
A police spokesperson advised the public to steer clear of the area while emergency crews worked to control the situation. Authorities also warned residents to keep their windows shut due to smoke from the fire. The AA reported that Twyford Road was blocked southbound between Greenland Road and Burnham Road as a result of the incident.
