Ferring Charity Seeks Volunteers for Annual Shoebox Appeal
Link to Hope is appealing for volunteers to help pack shoeboxes for their annual Shoebox Appeal this November.
The charity, based in Ferring, is inviting individuals to lend two hours of their time to support the packing effort at their Ferring Street warehouse. Volunteers are needed from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, starting from the 11th of November.
The Shoebox Appeal aims to send Christmas shoeboxes filled with essential items to disadvantaged communities in Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, and Ukraine. Link to Hope has been actively working in these countries to assist the poorest and most marginalised, focusing on education and social care. Volunteers can register to help with the appeal via the charity’s website.
Established in 1991, Link to Hope works directly with trusted partners in each country, ensuring aid reaches those in need as quickly as possible. Volunteers play a vital role in this effort, with every shoebox making a tangible difference to the lives of vulnerable families.
