Ferring Country Centre Appeals for Volunteers
Ferring Country Centre is appealing for volunteers to fill various roles across its operations, with opportunities available in support work, driving, allotment maintenance, and within its on-site café.
The centre, a local independent charity, has been providing training and work experience for individuals with learning disabilities since its founding in 1986.
Volunteers interested in these positions will be required to supply two references and undergo an enhanced DBS check if they are over the age of 16, as the centre caters to vulnerable adults.
Founded by a small group of parents over 30 years ago, Ferring Country Centre remains dedicated to its mission of supporting people with learning disabilities. The centre continues to offer meaningful opportunities for these individuals to engage with their community.
Further details and application instructions can be found on their website https://www.ferringcountrycentre.org/ or by emailing volunteers@ferringcountrycentre.org.
