Fire Crews Tackle Blaze in Worthing as Smoke Billows from Property

Firefighters were called to a property in Worthing last night (October 21) after a blaze broke out, sending smoke billowing from the building.

Residents were advised to avoid Broadwater Street West as fire crews worked to control the blaze.

Six fire engines attended the scene, and emergency services, including Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb), were also present. The extent of the damage or cause of the fire is not yet known.
