First Same-Sex Wedding Held at Worthing Baptist Church

Worthing Baptist Church recently hosted its first same-sex wedding, celebrating the union of Manny Kwan and Steph Idle. The couple, who were honoured to be part of this historic moment, expressed their joy at finding a welcoming and inclusive space.

The church, committed to affirming diversity, has been registered for same-sex marriages since 2021. Reverend Mike Parker, who officiated, noted the congregation’s overwhelming support, highlighting the significance of the event for both the couple and the community.
