Goring-by-Sea Station Ranked Among Most Dangerous in the UK

Goring-by-Sea railway station has been ranked among the most dangerous in the UK, placing 35th in a national analysis of crime rates at railway stations. The ranking is based on the number of reported crimes per million passengers in 2024.

The study, conducted by MailOnline, examined crime statistics from 2,001 railway stations across the country. Goring-by-Sea recorded 87 reported crimes this year, with a footfall of 479,592 passengers, equating to 181.4 crimes per million passengers.

The data places the station among the highest-risk locations for rail users in Sussex. Nutbourne and Southbourne stations also appeared in the top 100, ranking 19th and 51st, respectively.
