Goring Cleaner Pleads Guilty to Producing Indecent Images of Children

A cleaner from Goring has pleaded guilty to the production of indecent images of children.

Matthew Head, aged 37, confessed to creating multiple illegal photographs during a court session at Lewes Crown Court, held at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.

On August 22, 2022, police discovered indecent photographs in the possession of Head at his residence on Raleigh Way, Goring. The images classified included four category C images, one category A image, and four category B images, indicating varying degrees of illegality under UK law.

Head, who has attended special education schools throughout his life and was described as “educationally very troubled,” was previously considered a person of good character. Her Honour Judge Christine Henson KC has scheduled his sentencing for July 19, while Head remains on conditional bail.
