Man Arrested Following Attempted Robbery at Worthing Shop

A man has been arrested following an attempted robbery at a shop in Worthing early on Monday morning. Sussex Police confirmed the incident took place at Morrisons Daily in Heene Road around 6am on 28 April.

Officers responded swiftly to the report and, following initial enquiries, arrested a 46-year-old man from Worthing. He remains in police custody while investigations continue. Authorities have stated that the public should expect an increased police presence in the area as enquiries are ongoing.
