Man Dies in Three-Vehicle Crash on A27 Near Fontwell

A man has died following a three-vehicle collision on the A27 near Fontwell, West Sussex. The crash occurred just after midnight on Saturday and led to the closure of the westbound carriageway for several hours.

Sussex Police reported that the collision, involving three vehicles, took place on the A27 at Fontwell. A 38-year-old man from Rustington was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family has been informed. The drivers of the other vehicles and three passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by paramedics.

A diversion remained in place around the Fontwell roundabout into Saturday afternoon. Sussex Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward as investigations continue.
