Met Office Issues Two Yellow Weather Warnings for West Sussex as Heavy Rain Approaches

Residents in West Sussex are being advised to prepare for heavy rain and possible flooding as the Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings for the county.

The warnings cover a period from Wednesday night through to Friday, with forecasts indicating rainfall as heavy as 8mm per hour in some areas.

The first warning is in effect from 9pm on Wednesday until late Thursday, and a second warning covers the entire county from midnight until 11:59pm on Friday. The Met Office cautions that the intense rainfall could lead to travel disruption, with potential impacts on train and bus services, as well as the possibility of road closures due to flooding.
