Motorbike Seized After Anti-Social Riding in Worthing
Police in Worthing have seized a motorbike after numerous reports of it being ridden anti-socially in residential areas.
Adur and Worthing Police received multiple complaints over the past few days about a motorbike being ridden on pavements, gardens, and grassed areas near the Strand. Officers were called to the scene on Monday and pursued the suspects, who fled the area.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) later discovered the bike and it was confiscated under the Police Reform Act. Authorities have reassured residents that they are taking steps to address such behaviour.
A member of the Worthing Neighbourhood Policing team stated, “We have taken positive action following several community reports about the motorbike. This behaviour will not be tolerated, and we encourage residents to continue reporting such incidents.”
