Person Hospitalised After Collision in Worthing

A person has been hospitalised following a serious collision in Worthing, which also resulted in damage to a charity shop. The incident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, October 1, outside the St Barnabas House charity shop in Manor Parade, Salvington Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 11am. Ambulance crews treated a person for head and leg injuries before taking them to Worthing Hospital for further treatment. The shop’s window was smashed and a damaged car was seen outside.

Sussex Police confirmed that the incident involved a single vehicle. They are appealing for witnesses and urge anyone with information to report it online, quoting reference serial 498 of 01/10.
