Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Assault in Littlehampton

Police are appealing for information following an assault that took place in Littlehampton on 5 August.

A 27-year-old local man was attacked by an unknown assailant and sustained serious injuries as a result.

The incident occurred at around 8:15 p.m. on River Road. The suspect, who was part of a group of six or seven people, fled the scene with the group via Surrey Street. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
