Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Collision in Lancing

Sussex Police are seeking witnesses following a serious collision involving a Ford Fiesta in Lancing.

Officers were called to Chartwell Road in Lancing shortly after 6:30 am on 29 May 2024, following reports of a Ford Fiesta colliding with a parked car. The driver of the Ford, a 55-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone with dashcam footage of a grey Ford Fiesta traveling southbound on Busticle Lane, Lancing, around the time of the incident.
