Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Group Assault in Worthing
Sussex Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following an assault at a Morrison’s Daily store in Limbrick Corner, Worthing.
The incident took place around 4pm on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, involving a group of men attacking a 19-year-old local man.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of intent to cause grievous bodily harm and violent disorder the day after the incident, on 11 September. He has since been released on bail pending further investigation. The victim sustained minor injuries, and detectives are actively searching for additional suspects involved in the attack.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has relevant information to come forward. Witnesses are encouraged to contact Sussex Police online or call 101, quoting serial 822 of 10/09.
