Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Littlehampton Vehicle Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision in Littlehampton that left a young girl seriously injured. The incident occurred in the Daisyfields area of Wick at approximately 11.30am on Saturday, May 4.

The collision involved a black Mercedes A180 and an unoccupied grey Ford Transit van. A five-year-old girl, a passenger in the Mercedes, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. The driver of the Mercedes, a 35-year-old local woman, was also hospitalised with non-serious injuries.

Sussex Police request that anyone with relevant CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage, particularly of the vehicles in the area at the time, come forward. Information can be reported online to Sussex Police quoting serial 537 of 04/05.
