Police Renew Appeal to Identify Man in Shoreham Hate Crime Incident

Sussex Police have issued a renewed appeal for assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with a hate crime incident at a local business in Shoreham.

The incident, involving threatening and abusive behaviour, took place at the Shoreham Fish Bar on Buckingham Road on June 15, 2024.

According to the police report, the suspect entered the premises and was verbally aggressive and abusive towards a staff member. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime, and authorities are keen to locate the individual involved. An image of the man, previously released by the police, has been reissued in the hope of receiving new information from the public.

Sussex Police urge anyone who recognises the man or has information about the incident to come forward. Individuals can report information online or by calling 101, quoting crime reference 1188 of 15/06.
