Police Seek Witnesses After Suspicious Incidents in Arundel

Sussex Police are calling for witnesses in connection with a series of “suspicious incidents” that have occurred in Arundel over the past two years.

The force’s appeal follows numerous reports of a man behaving unusually, stretching from January 2022 to February 2024.

Officers have responded to 17 separate incidents all believed to involve the same individual. Descriptions provided by witnesses detail the man as approximately 50 years old and six feet tall, frequently spotted wearing a balaclava.

Members of the public who have seen anything unusual or might possess any information are encouraged to come forward. Sussex Police have urged people to contact them online or by calling 101, referencing Operation Abandon.
