Police Target Anti-Social Behaviour Hotspots in Worthing and Shoreham

Police in Worthing and Shoreham have increased patrols in areas where youth-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) has been reported. Officers have been targeting hotspots as part of ‘Op Respect’, a multi-agency initiative aimed at tackling crime and improving local communities.
Adur and Worthing Police carried out patrols over the half-term period to address ASB concerns. They identified Worthing town centre, Durrington, and Shoreham Beach Green as locations where incidents were taking place. Officers will continue monitoring these areas and working with young people involved in anti-social behaviour to prevent repeat offences.
‘Op Respect’ is designed to reduce Anti-social behaviour through enforcement and education, encouraging residents to report concerns. Police have urged the public to stay vigilant and report any incidents via the Sussex Police website.
