Revised Plans for Worthing's Former Gas Works approved

Worthing Borough Council has greenlighted revised plans to transform the former gas works site into a residential complex.

The project, initially approved in 2021 for 209 homes, has now been expanded to include 228 apartments across several blocks, incorporating a mix of studio, one-bed, two-bed, and three-bed options.

The approved adjustment also adds an eighth story to one block and features additional internal fire escape, enhanced parking with electric vehicle charging points, and a connection to the council’s sustainable energy heat network.
