Rustington Manor Hotel and Restaurant to be Converted into Flats
Arun District Council has approved plans to convert Rustington Manor Hotel and Restaurant into four new homes.
Arun District Council has given the green light for the conversion of Rustington Manor Hotel and Restaurant, located in Broadmark Lane, Rustington, into four residential flats.
The decision was made on May 7, following a planning application by developer Leach Investments Ltd. The hotel, which has been closed since 2017 after the owners retired, will now undergo significant changes to create new living spaces.
The approved plans detail that two of the new homes will be three-bedroom units, while the remaining two will have two bedrooms. These homes will be distributed across the ground and first floors of the existing structure.
The redevelopment will also involve removing a rear section of the former hotel, which houses a laundry room and conservatory, and replacing it with a single-storey living room for one of the new flats. The current two apartments on the site will remain unaffected by these changes.
