Shoreham Boosts Police Patrols Following Surge in Antisocial Behaviour
An increased police presence will be seen in Shoreham for the next month to tackle antisocial behaviour by young people celebrating the end of school.
Adur and Worthing police have announced that they will be increasing patrols throughout Shoreham to address recent instances of damage and disorderly conduct. The move comes in response to a series of incidents involving groups of young people marking the end of the school year.
A police spokesperson stated that officers have already identified several individuals responsible for the disturbances. In collaboration with local partners, the police are implementing strategies to prevent further antisocial activities. Shoreham residents can expect a visible police presence, particularly in the town centre and along the beach.
Residents are encouraged to report any antisocial behaviour to the police either online or by calling 101. In emergencies, the public should dial 999.
