Shoreham RNLI to Conduct Evening Lifeboat Training
Shoreham RNLI will launch their all-weather lifeboat for a training exercise this evening at 5:30pm, offering members of the public the chance to observe the action from Kingston Beach.
This exercise forms part of the RNLI’s regular Wednesday training sessions designed for their volunteer crew.
The featured vessel is a Tamar class all-weather lifeboat, introduced to the RNLI fleet in 2005. At the time of its launch, it was hailed as the most advanced and safest lifeboat in the charity’s history.
The Shoreham RNLI continues to provide essential life-saving services, ensuring that both the crew and equipment are well-prepared for emergencies at sea. Regular training exercises, such as this one, play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of readiness and response.
