Shoreham Roads to Close for Improvement Works from March 3

Several roads in Shoreham will be temporarily closed for improvement works from March 3 to April 25, West Sussex County Council has announced. The closures will allow highway teams to carry out active travel upgrades in the area.

The affected roads include Upper Shoreham Road, Buckingham Road, Windlesham Road, and Middle Road, all in Shoreham-By-Sea. These roads will be closed from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm each day. Additionally, The Drive, at the junction of Upper Shoreham Road, will be closed from March 3 to April 17.

A spokesperson for West Sussex County Council confirmed that traffic management measures will be in place at Upper Shoreham Road throughout the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained, with signed route diversions provided on-site to guide residents and commuters.
