Steyning Singer Maisie Peters to Open for Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium

Maisie Peters, a singer from Steyning, West Sussex, is set to open for Taylor Swift during the penultimate night of Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium on Monday.

Peters, who gained significant attention after topping the album charts with The Good Witch in 2023, will perform on one of the final dates of the highly successful tour.

Peters, 24, expressed her excitement about the opportunity on social media, thanking Swift for the chance and stating that she didn’t know “how it gets better than this.” The young artist has previously supported other major acts, including Ed Sheeran, who joined Swift for her London show on 15 August, following her return to the stage after cancelled performances in Vienna due to security threats.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which began in March 2023, is expected to conclude in Canada on 8 December 2024, after more than 100 shows across various countries. The tour has been a massive commercial success, with ticket sales projected to generate over $2 billion (£1.549 million) in revenue.
