Sussex Police Awarded Silver Trailblazer Status for Anti-Racism Progress

Sussex Police has been recognised for its efforts to become an anti-racist organisation, earning the Silver Trailblazer Status from Race Equality Matters.

This accolade highlights the progress the force has made under the Police Race Action Plan (PRAP), a national initiative aimed at tackling racial disparities in policing.

As part of their commitment, Sussex Police has become the first public sector employer in the South East to sign Unison’s Anti-Racism Charter.

Moving forward, Sussex Police plans to introduce further initiatives to address disproportionality, recognising that there is still much work to be done.
