Sussex Police Patrol Parks and Towns to Tackle Summer Antisocial Behaviour
August 13, 2024
Sussex Police have stepped up patrols across various parks and town centres this summer to address rising concerns over antisocial behaviour.
The enhanced patrols, led by Adur and Worthing Police, are in response to reports of antisocial behaviour in Worthing, Shoreham, and Lancing, which began at the start of the summer break. Officers are focusing on key areas such as Shoreham High Street, Worthing town centre, and local beaches, engaging with the public to deter disruptive activities, particularly involving youth.
Sussex Police have urged residents to report any incidents of antisocial behaviour, advising them to contact 101 for non-emergencies or 999 in urgent situations. The patrols will continue throughout the summer holiday period.
