Tesla Severely Damaged in Crash with Telegraph Pole in Tarring

A Tesla was severely damaged after colliding with a telegraph pole on Terringes Avenue in Tarring. Emergency services attended the scene, but no injuries were reported.

The incident occurred around 11:35 am on Wednesday when the electric vehicle struck a telegraph pole, causing significant damage to the car’s bonnet. A fire engine from Worthing was dispatched to the scene by West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service at 1:16 pm. Crews worked to make the vehicle safe and left the area by 1:50 pm. The road was temporarily closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police confirmed that the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution. However, no injuries were reported. The vehicle was later towed from the scene following the crash.
