Two Men Arrested Following Fire Broadwater Salon

Two men from Hampshire have been arrested following a fire at TanTastic salon in Worthing, which police believe was started deliberately.

The incident took place on October 21 when multiple fire crews responded to the blaze shortly before 11:30 pm, safely evacuating approximately 40 people from the Broadwater area.

A 61-year-old man from Wickham, Hampshire, was arrested on October 26 on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and has since been released on conditional bail. Additionally, an 18-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on October 30 on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent and remains in police custody.

Sussex Police have urged witnesses or anyone with relevant information to contact them, with enquiries ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.
