West Sussex Launches Consultation to Improve Autism Services

A consultation has been launched by West Sussex County Council to improve services and support for autistic people across the region.

The consultation, which will run until December 16, invites feedback from autistic individuals, their families, carers, and professionals working in the field. The initiative includes online surveys and in-person workshops aimed at understanding the needs of autistic people and gathering insights to inform future services.

The results of the consultation will be used to develop a new autism strategy, expected to be finalised by Summer 2025. The council aims to use this strategy to improve public services and community support for autistic people across West Sussex.
