Woman Dies After Collapsing at Worthing Allotments

A woman has tragically died following a medical emergency at West Tarring Allotments in Worthing.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) confirmed that paramedics were called to the scene just before midday on Tuesday after receiving reports that a person had collapsed.

Emergency crews, including an air ambulance that landed nearby on Marine Parade, attended the incident. Despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

The air ambulance was seem departing the area shortly after 1pm, following the confirmation of the woman’s death. No further details about the incident have been released at this time.
