Worthing Council Cancels Homefield Park Playground Consultation Due to Weather

Worthing Borough Council has announced the cancellation of its scheduled consultation event at Homefield Park playground today due to poor weather conditions. The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused to residents and has confirmed a new date for the event.

The in-person consultation session, originally planned for today, will now take place on Thursday, 12th September, from 2pm to 4pm at Homefield Park. The council has also reminded residents of another upcoming session on Saturday, 7th September, from 10am to midday. These sessions are part of an ongoing initiative to gather community input on improvements to the popular playground.

In the meantime, residents are encouraged to share their suggestions for the park’s improvements by completing a short online survey available on the council’s website. The council expressed its commitment to working with the community to enhance the local play area.
