Worthing FC Home Fixture Against Hornchurch to go ahead with Limited Attendance
Worthing FC’s first home match of the season against Hornchurch, scheduled for 7th September, will see restricted attendance due to delays in stadium upgrades.
The club has confirmed that the new north stand will not be operational, limiting the attendance to 1,500.
The delay, caused by late delivery of back-of-stand panel cladding, means only ticket holders will be allowed entry, with tickets being sold online and at the stadium’s ticket office from Tuesday. Season ticket holders are guaranteed entry, while remaining tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of two tickets per person.
Hornchurch supporters will have a separate allocation, constituting 10% of the available tickets, as per National League rules.
Worthing FC has also hinted at the introduction of an attendance loyalty scheme, with further details expected soon. Future fixtures, including a potential FA Cup match on 14th September, may also face similar restrictions if necessary.
