Worthing Festival 2024 Line-up Announced

The schedule for this year’s Worthing Festival has been announced, promising a vibrant array of music, comedy, and family entertainment. More than 100 events will take place from June 8 to June 23, marking the second year of the festival.

Highlights of the festival include music performances over two weekends, art exhibitions, cemetery tours, and an 80s party night.

Last year, the inaugural event attracted over 14,000 visitors to Worthing, spanning nine days of festivities. The festival was conceived through collaboration between Worthing Borough Council and the local arts community, aiming to celebrate the town’s creative talent.

Councillor Rita Garner, Worthing’s culture and leisure cabinet member, expressed excitement about this year’s festival, highlighting the positive reception of the previous event as a motivating factor. She encouraged local residents and visitors to support the festival, which showcases local talent and businesses, and looks forward to another successful celebration of arts and culture.
