Worthing Office Block May Be Converted Into Flats

Plans have been submitted to transform an office block in Worthing town centre into residential flats.

Wicker Eagle Worthing Limited has proposed converting Eagle House, located on High Street, into 10 flats, each featuring open-plan kitchen, living, and dining areas.

The proposal includes provisions for 10 car parking spaces, one for each flat, to be shared with a neighbouring building, Wicker House.

Radio Worthing has previously reported nearby Wicker House also has pending plans for conversion into 29 flats by the same developer. Additionally, the plans mention the availability of five cycle stands for residents of Eagle House.

Adur and Worthing Councils are expected to make a final decision on the application by October 9.
