Worthing Pavilion to Host Bowls Tournament for Blind Veterans UK

Sixteen members of Blind Veterans UK will participate in a special indoor bowls tournament at Worthing Pavilion next week.

Organised by veteran Les Fryer, the event will run from October 16-18 and aims to provide a fun and competitive atmosphere for visually impaired bowlers.

Les, 88, who lost his sight in 2012, has been a key advocate for sight-impaired bowls. The weekly sessions at Worthing Pavilion were made possible with help from local organisations and volunteers.

Participants will compete over four sessions for a trophy sponsored by Worthing Lions.
