Worthing Theatres & Museum Welcomes Six New Trustees
Worthing Theatres & Museum (WTM) has announced the appointment of six new trustees to its board, enhancing its leadership with a wealth of expertise from various sectors.
Amanda O’Reilly, CEO and artistic director of WTM, described the appointments as a significant step forward in the organisation’s mission to expand its cultural and community impact. The new trustees bring expertise in fields such as museum curation, healthcare governance, and digital media, aligning with WTM’s focus on diversity and innovation in the arts.
The trustees include Maxine Hort, interim CEO at Brighton Dome & Festival; James Turnbull, a digital development producer with the Royal Shakespeare Company; Neil Wood, a healthcare financial leader; Rebecca Wakeford, an experienced museum curator; Jane Lodge, an equality and diversity expert; and Mike Pailthorpe, a community music education advocate.
WTM, a cultural charity dedicated to enriching Worthing’s artistic fabric, manages venues such as the Connaught Theatre, Pavilion Theatre, and Worthing Museum. Scott Marshall, interim chair of the board, expressed confidence in the trustees’ ability to steer WTM toward a thriving future.
