Worthing Town Hall Christmas Tree Cancelled for Second Year Due to Financial Challenges

Worthing’s Town Hall will not feature a Christmas tree for the second consecutive year, as the council cites financial challenges for the decision.

Despite the absence of the tree outside the Town Hall, a Christmas tree will be placed on Montague Street as in previous years. The council explained that this location was chosen to maximise visibility and enjoyment for residents and visitors in the town centre.

The council is also exploring the possibility of planting a permanent tree outside the Town Hall in the future, which could provide long-term benefits. No plans for the Christmas arrangements in 2025 have been made yet, according to the spokesperson.
