Worthing's Dome Cinema to Add New Auditorium to Meet Demand

The historic Dome cinema on Worthing seafront is set to convert its unused bar area into a new 67-seat auditorium to meet increasing public demand and attract wider audiences.

The Cinema, a notable landmark in Worthing, will transform an empty bar space, previously part of a ballroom and later a bingo hall, into an additional screening room.

Unick Consulting Ltd, representing the cinema operator, has assured that the new auditorium will not compromise the historical integrity of the building.

The proposal, approved by Adur and Worthing Councils on June 20, also includes plans for refurbishing one of the existing auditoriums with new seating and minor alterations to the toilets to add extra cubicles.
