Yemisi Mokuolu Appointed as Chair of Worthing Theatres & Museum

Yemisi Mokuolu has been appointed as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Worthing Theatres & Museum (WTM) as of October 11, 2024. An award-winning producer and consultant, Mokuolu brings extensive experience in arts and cultural leadership to the role.

Mokuolu, founder of Hatch Ideas Worldwide and co-founder of the Asa Baako Festival, has led multiple high-profile cultural projects globally, including initiatives with the European Commission and Arts Council England. Her 20-year career includes roles such as Festival Director for Amnesty @ Edinburgh Festivals, alongside capacity-building efforts for organisations like Historic England and Tate Galleries.

As Chair, Mokuolu will collaborate with WTM’s leadership to foster community pride and develop WTM as a cultural hub. Working with stakeholders, including Worthing Borough Council, she aims to ensure the organisation thrives artistically and remains sustainable.
